Northbrook Canoe Challenge

Saturday May 2nd, 2026. Operators on location between 10:30 and 11AM. Event starts at noon and usually wraps up by 3PM. The Canoe Challenge is one of the events that CCAR provides communications for, and the sponsors are very appreciative of the excellent job we do. It is an easy event to participate in as an operator. The only equipment needed is an HT and yourself. We have operators placed at strategic points along the Brandywine Creek. We are there to monitor the progress and safety of the participants in the canoes. We are joined by the Chester County Dive Team. The dive team is also placed at a few strategic points and they provide in-water help.
