CCAR Offers ARRL Level I EmComm Training Course and Exam

In response to many requests CCAR is offering a one day "cram" course to prepare for the ARRL ARECC Level I exam. This course will be held Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 9 AM - 5 PM the Chester County Government Services Center, Room 170. The formal exam session immediately follows the review presentations. Sign-up for this course and we will help you with advance preparations, or you can study on your own and take the exam.

Our experience says that students who prepare themselves in advance pass the exam with little trouble. Without advance preparation the chances are 50-50 or worse.

The only cost is ARRL exam fee ($15). Come in the morning and have lunch courtesy of Chester County. There is no added cost....

The ARRL Level I certificate is seen as the minimum in order to be considered "trained" for our function by County, along with NIMS-required ICS-100 and ICS-700 courses.

If you do not hold a Level I certificate, you will be contacted individually by our training team. Level I classroom training and exams are a rare opportunity and normally available through online study. We are not able to offer this course very often, as it requires considerable effort and preparation by the instructors.
