Training Opportunity.
The Delaware Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) is offering a combined
ICS-100 and NIMS-700 class on October 17 from 9:00 to 4:30 at their
headquarters in Smyrna, DE. These two courses are part of the four
courses (100, 200, 700, and 800) strongly recommended for ARES
volunteers in Delaware. Please let me know if you are interested and I
will provide details including registration information.

Daily HF Nets.
Please check into the daily nets at 6:30 PM on 3.905 MHz. Monday
through Saturday it’s the Delaware Traffic Net and on Sunday the
DELMARVA Emergency Net. Both nets offer the opportunity to get on the
air, meet some new friends, and learn about traffic handling. All
Amateurs are welcome and encouraged to check in.
